FLSAS: The Beginning

FLSAS was started after my experiences studying in four different types of programs (3 in Spain and one in Germany). My study abroad and living abroad totaled approximately 3 1/2 years in homestay situations, residence halls and student apartments. From my personal experiences and the experiences of others and from my observations over the years, I believe I know what “works” and what does not.

I hope that my experience and experiences will make your experience a more positive one.

Foreign Language ImmersionLive It to Learn It

FLSASspecializes inprograms that emphasize building and improving your foreign language skills. Recognizing that people – of all ages – have only a limited amount of time to learn, intensive programs offered make maximum use of limited time. They offerflexible schedulesfor independent / unaccompanied / individual participants as well as small groups.

Cultural & LifeStyle Immersion – Go Local Internationally

Over the years, many people (adults) requested the opportunity to have a just a plain homestay in a foreign country without the language lessons. The request came from former students, teachers who wanted a cultural out of classroom experience, parents of students who studied abroad…. and many others who just wanted a more meaningful vacation.
